Jersey Fitting for 2015-16 Season

NBHL will be ordering new jerseys for the 2015-16 hockey season.  The jerseys will be owned by the players instead of the league. To accomplish this, all 2015-16 travel players must be sized for jerseys. The players must bring their shoulder pads for the sizing. Jersey sizing will be at the Sports Center in the Multi-Purpose room.

Thursday, May 28:
7:00pm All Squirt Players
8:00pm All Peewee Players
9:00pm All Bantam Players
Saturday, May 30:
9:00am Remaining Squirt Players
9:45am Remaining Peewee Players
10:30am Remaining Bantam & GBN Players
If someone can’t make either time they should send Chris Nein a note at chrisnein@ameritech.net and he will try and arrange a time to meet them.  Realize there are many players to be sized so please try to make one of the two times scheduled.

Congratulations to Arika Osacky-Siegel Hockey Mom of the Year

Our very own Arika Osacky-Siegel, member of the NBHL Executive Board, Chicago United Hockey League Executive Board and President of the Northbrook Jr. Spartans, has been named Youth Hockey Mom of the Year by the Chicago Wolves.
Mother to three current (and one future!) Bluehawk Hockey players, Arika contributes her time and energy in many ways to make both the NBHL programs and the CUHL a better place for everyone. Her efforts were instrumental in both the creation of the Jr. Spartans and the CUHL.
Little did she realize that when her hockey playing husband Howard, asked her to “embrace”  their children’s involvement in hockey that she would jump “all in”.
Congratulations Arika….well deserved!
